The manga series “The Quintessential Quintuplets” ended in 2020, but that didn’t stop us from getting the anime content.

Quintessential Quintuplets is a harem anime that follows the life of Futaro Uesugi, a high school student who works as a private tutor for a group of identical quintuplets named Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki Nakano. Futaro’s fiancée ends up being his younger sister, although her name is not revealed in the anime.

The manga series, consisting of a total of 122 chapters in 14 volumes, ended in 2020. The first season replaces the first 32 chapters of the manga. By removing story arcs and limiting dialogue, the second season improved the pace of the story. As a result, chapter 86 of the manga already deals with the second season.
The film will follow the second season of the anime series. There is always the possibility that the movie will follow the ending of the anime. Therefore, in the upcoming movie, we will finally find out which sister Futaro chooses.

Futaru tries to recall what happened five years ago when they returned to Kyoto. One of the sisters is said to be young Nakano, whom Futaru met at the time. At the end of the road, the identity of the first girl appears.
As she grows up with her sisters, Futaru becomes frustrated.
If the series releases enough material for season three, we will most likely see that Futaru’s sister will be in season 3.

‘The Quintessential Quintuplets’ Season 3: When Is It Coming?
The anime has not yet been renewed for a third season, but if it is, we can estimate its release date based on a few factors.
The inaugural season of Tezuka Productions debuted on January 10, 2019, and ran until March 28, 2019. The second season of Bibury Animation Studios was originally set to premiere in October 2020. However, it was extended due to the spread of the virus. January 8, 2020, and ends on March 26, 2021.
According to the plans, we can expect the release of the third season next year, in 2022. However, the release date of the anime is already planned for 2022, and then the third season will most likely be released by 2023. Again, this is just an assumption based on the assumption that the movie won’t end the manga’s story.
