The Spanish racer presently works in MotoGP and could play for LCR Honda in the 2022 season. Alex Marquez’s settlement with LCR Honda was introduced whilst he acquired a contract extension.

He entered the Moto2 championship in 2015. The debut was not good when he finished 14th and then 13th in 2016. He was 4th for the next two years and finally managed to win the race in the Moto2 championship in 2019. . This victory gave him a chance in MotoGP and he made his debut in 2020.
