
Celtic could be second in the league behind second-placed Rangers in the 2020-21 season. But the club has signed the most valuable contract to support uniforms and equipment. The company signed a 4-year contract with a German equipment manufacturer (Adidas). The deal will add £5m per season to the club’s financial support. Celtic’s contract with Adidas runs until 2024.

In July 2020, Celtic switched from New Balance kit to Adidas. When the Scottish firm signed the contract, it was reported that the company would earn £30m per season over the next five years. From 2020 to 2021, the club will receive £5m per season and if they manage to qualify for UEFA competitions, win the Scottish Championship or the Scottish Cup, the club will receive a further £2m.
