Production

Knock at the Cabin is an adaptation of the 2018 horror novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay, who signed a non-disclosure agreement with Film Nation Entertainment in late 2017 ahead of the book’s release. The film based on one of his stories until July 2022. The film stars Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn, and Rupert Grint.
Plot
In the film, a family of three goes on vacation in a remote cabin. Suddenly captured by four foreigners who ask them to sacrifice their own to prevent the apocalypse. For seven years, Wen vacationed with his parents, Eric and Andrew, at their home in rural Pennsylvania. While there, Wen met a stranger named Leonard. She seems charming at first and explains that she needs Wen and her parents’ help to save the world. However, when Wen and Leonard spend time together capturing the grass, they surprised when three other people show up with working weapons. Wen ran to warn Eric and Andrew, but the crowd burst into the building, tied them up, and Eric injured.
